What exquisite gifts the Maker gives! Air's freshness, sunshine's warmth, water's coolness-all testify to lavish generosity.

God has not left Himself without testimony: He has shown kindness by giving you rain from heaven and crops in their seasons; He provides you with plenty of food and fills your hearts with joy. (Acts 14:17)

"Kindness" gives these blessings - and senses to enjoy them! Yet our experiment was really about a deeper sense: the ability to picture and imagine, to conceptualize and consider - yes, even to thank and praise! None of this ability is of our own making, much less accidental. David knows the sheer wonder of being human:

...You created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well (Psalm 139:13-14).

Such unique "being" suggests the high value our Creator places on us. Now your worth is fully confirmed in the ultimate way. "Thanks be to God for His indescribable Gift!" (2 Corinthians 9:15). That Gift is Himself! In the form of the Son He comes and suffers the punishment for all our rebellion. He sets us free to live "to the full" (John 10:10).

Does God really care about me? Yes!!! He cares with all His infinite heart - for me personally. He "loved me and gave Himself for me" (Galatians 2:20). Through Jesus He proves His care, and reaches out to meet each need:

He who did not spare His own Son, but gave Him up for us all - how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things? (Romans 8:32)

Yes, "cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7). Jesus assures, "I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from My Father I have made known to you" (John 15:15). God wants you to learn and experience His loving purpose for your life!
